Over the past 25 years, we have gone through many different stages, and all of them have been very valuable and enriching. Now that we can look back on the journey we have taken, with a certain perspective, we realize what has been achieved throughout this years.
We would like to invite you on a short tour through our most significant milestones:
A little history
Aratubo – Precision-soldered steel pipes, was founded on the 12th of March, 1997 in Vitoria-Gasteiz.
We started out with two pipe machines and 32 excited employees.
After a successful first decade, in 2008 we consolidated our working methods: we increased the capacity of our automatic warehouse, and the initial two production lines became four.
The automobile industry
It all started when, in 2009, we decided to go one step further and diversify our business. In addition to manufacturing steel pipes for our customers and wholesalers, we decided to move into the automobile sector.
This was challenging in that it involved starting out in a demanding industry, but we knew that, with our experience, we would be able to become a leading supplier. In fact, today the automotive sector represents a key line of business for Aratubo.
Three key years in our history
In a period of three years (from 2016 to 2018), we made considerable investments that have made it possible for us to continue growing. We went from one warehouse to three, with a total surface area spanning 70,000 m2. Our production capacity also increased: we went from four pipe manufacturing lines to the six we have today.
When we add to this the 175 staff members who make up the Aratubo family, the result is that we are able to provide our service to clients located in more than 25 different countries.
25th anniversary
Over these 25 years, our family business has grown and adapted in order to help our clients to successfully carry out their projects. In fact, they are the reason that we are able to keep providing our range of services.
We are still growing today. We are committed to innovation and continuous improvement, we test our pipes in our testing laboratory and we carry out pipe simulation and transformation processes. We do all of this in order to guarantee the quality of the product and service at all stages of the process.
In addition, we are actively working towards the transformation of Aratubo into a sustainable company because we firmly believe in ecological transformation and social changes that improve the quality of life of the people around us.
