TubeTube Düsseldorf as the compass for industrial transformation

At each edition, the Tube Düsseldorf fair acts as a true thermometer for our sector. The new developments presented are not just passing fads, they’re current challenges that are transforming the industry and will continue to define our evolution in the coming years.

The next edition of Tube will be held on 13-17 April 2026 at Messe Düsseldorf and will once again unite manufacturers, processing companies and professionals from the whole value chain linked to tubing.

In this context, Tube once more poses a key issue:

How can we keep advancing towards a sustainable and efficient model, ready for the new market requirements?

Tube 2026: the major axes that set the agenda

In this edition, the fair will concentrate its attention on matters that are setting the pace of the industry and its evolution and that will influence market priorities. These include two major scopes in particular: sustainability and industrial digitisation.

Sustainability and energy transition

Sustainability is consolidated as one of the key elements of Tube with a focus closely linked to one of its 3 pillars: the environment. Beyond the general debate, the fair will focus on how the energy transition is transferring

new demands to the whole value chain. Renewable energydecarbonisation and the development of new more sustainable infrastructure are playing a major role here.

In parallel, initiatives such as ecoMetals reinforce this focus by highlighting technologies and solutions aimed at more efficient production in the use of resources, better energy management and the promotion of circular models.

AI, robotics and advanced automation

Along with sustainability, Tube 2026 sees digitisation as another of the key axes of this edition, in particular AI, robotics and advanced automation. The value of these technologies lies not only in incorporating them, but also understanding how they contribute to enhancing certain critical manufacture variables, such as process control, accuracy in production, traceability and the ability to anticipate deviations.

In practical terms, this progress results in greater integration between data, equipment and operational decisions, through solutions such as computer vision, smart automation, IoT, machine learning and robotic systems.

On the whole, both approaches clearly indicate the direction of the tube industry and industry in general: greater efficiency in the use of resources, more sustainable processes and more robust, consistent operations that are more able to response to new technical and market requirements.

How we apply sustainability and innovation to generate value at Aratubo

At Aratubo we tackle these priorities from a practical perspective, integrated in operations and oriented at ongoing improvement. We don’t stop at mere observation: we integrate progress into how we work.

We do it with a clear objective: to convert sustainability and innovation into real value for the customer.

Sustainability is our way of life

For us, sustainability is not an isolated project, it’s a way of life that’s reflected in how we understand our relationship with people and the environment, taking on the challenge of environmental commitments, without losing the essence of a company that’s made to last. This focus is based on specific lines of work such as:

  • Healthy workplace: initiatives focusing on the well-being of the workforce and their surroundings
  • A strategic sustainability communication plan to promote a shared culture and advance coherently
  • 90% reduction in our carbon footprint (scopes 1 & 2) and offsetting of 100% of the residual volume of these scopes
  • Manufacture of low-emission tubes
  • Use of 100% renewable electricity
  • Photovoltaic installations that provide approximately 10% of our consumption
  • 100% recycled plastic packaging

In recognition of this work, EcoVadis has again awarded us the Platinum medal for our performance and our implementation of sustainable policies.

In addition, at Tube 2026 we’ll reinforce this way of life with a specific gesture that we set up for the previous edition: At Tube 2024 we compensated 30 t of CO₂ linked to travel by people attending our event. And at Tube 2026 we’ll expand the initiative to everyone who visits our stand during the fair.

Applied innovation and digitisation

In parallel, at Aratubo we are working on innovation and digitisation with a direct focus on our production processes and quality control. The objective is clear: make better decisions in the plant, reinforce process stability and respond accurately to ever more stringent manufacture environments. This work will be concentrated in projects and initiatives such as:

  • Process digitisation with sensorisation and real time data capture
  • Development of an IoT platform for edge computing in manufacture lines
  • Advanced dimension monitoring using point cloud systems
  • The classification of burrs with AI (edge learning)
  • Integration of computer vision and deep learning to verify quality

We’ll see you at stand 3C04

The next edition of the fair will be another chance to meet up, share impressions and listen to the market. We want to continue building the future alongside our customers and partners who visit our stand.

If you’re going to be at Tube 2026, we’d be delighted to see you at Stand 3C04 and talk about your needs and projects.

It’ll be a pleasure to see you in Düsseldorf!
