Platinum award for sustainability

At Aratubo, for the second consecutive year, we are celebrating our EcoVadis platinum medal. This is in recognition of our advanced management in sustainability, which only 1% of the companies in our sector classified by EcoVadis have obtained.

Aratubo’s ongoing commitment to sustainability has been rewarded with the EcoVadis platinum medal for a second time, with an even better score than in 2024.

In 2024 we achieved a score of 80 in all the categories assessed, and this year we went even further, as you can see in the chart.

Maintaining the EcoVadis platinum medal, the maximum classification held by only a small percentage of companies in the iron and steel industry, is an achievement shared by the entire Aratubo workforce.

Thus, our responsibility for all aspects covered by sustainability is ratified with objective data: governance, social policies and environmental policies.

The future is today

If maintaining its platinum award is important to Aratubo, the involvement of the whole team in pursuing and achieving our goals is even more so. We are aware that the challenge lies not only within our walls. Therefore, we will keep working to induce the “fever” of all scopes of sustainability to as many collaborators as possible. The more who join us in this incredible challenge, the better.  And if we manage to do so with conviction and not just obligation, that’s something infinitely greater.
