We are pleased to introduce Andrés Portela del Río who is taking over for Javier Múgica, who has been in charge of the R&D Department since 2008.
Andrés is taking over for Javier who is beginning a new chapter as the Technical Director of Materials within the Purchasing Department of the Arania Group.
Experience
Portela has extensive experience as the Head of R&D and as Director of Development and Project Management in various companies in the automation and storage system management sector.
In his 20+ years of experience, he has led different projects applying the latest technological advances.
Knowledge
Andrés will contribute his knowledge to continue developing new strategic projects at Aratubo. Among other functions, he will promote collaborations with knowledge centres, establish the bases for the granting of subsidies and certifications, and manage the intellectual and industrial protection of the developments carried out.
